Placket, zip and fasteners

Close the jacket and follow the front opening from collar to hem. Zips, snaps and buttonholes should form one straight line without pulling one panel higher.

Panels, fill and lining

Compare quilted sections or padded zones for obvious empty spots and bunching. Check that lining does not protrude through the cuffs, hem or zip.

Pockets, cuffs and measurements

Compare left and right pocket height, cuff width and hem finish. Confirm chest, sleeve and back length for the selected size.
